Almost totally devoid of redeeming facets, not even really bad enough to be funny, since one of the things it is worst at is providing comedy. Go to Full Review

Jonathan F @Arcradia Nov 26 Empress Savina desperately wants to get hold of the Mythical Rod of Savrille, a mythical rod that will help her fight against Mage Profion, an evil magician. She hires two thieves, Ridley and Snails, to help her. Justin Whalin plays the lead role in this movie as Ridley with his assistant Snails to fights Damodar though out the movie for scrolls and later on the movie Ridley runs the gauntlet though a dangerous event in a bid to gain the Dragons Heart which he need to open a chamber to gain the Mythical Rod. Plenty action though out the movie to keep you entertained with appearances in the movie from Richard O'Brien and the Tom Baker I think the critics need to have a long good hard look at themselves as this movie is very entertaining though out the have review this movie very harshly. Release date 9th February 2001 See more Marke V Oct 19 Times been pretty harsh to this movie, but having extensively researched the development and making of it I feel alot of uneducated assumptions are made about it. This is a project that would never see the light of day in today's movie climate can you imagine a 19 year old acquiring the rights to a huge IP simply by knocking on the door and asking.. Impossible. 10 years of development hell and still made it to the big screen! Dungeons and dragons is a relic of its time and should be appreciated for what it is. The dated CGI is part of the charm and it has a great music score. Maybe its nostalgia talking but ive great memories renting it from the video store hanging with friends at the weekend and watching it on VHS. Dungeons and Dragons turns 25 next year! I will be watching again on Blu ray (not easy to find believe me) On a final note Dungeons and Dragons is a fun exciting adventure so go make the popcorn strap on your sword and hey "don't question this gift, your friend awaits you."
