Istari D One of the worst movies i've ever watched. A reference on this field. Worth to watch for this reason only. You may laugh due to the terrible acting and story telling, the low cost special effects and some strange ideas like blue lipsstick for Damodar. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/24 Full Review Holly This is no way a good movie but for some reason I love it! ❤️ Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review Steve S I cannot defend this movie; it is, I would say, objectively bad. But nostalgia outweighs my better judgment here. Having been a fresh-faced 14 years old when it came out, I was thoroughly entertained by it then and because if that, I still watch it to this day. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review Val K Unfortunately this was not a good movie. Fans were dying for a DnD movie. Seems like they didn't have anyone to help with the script or filming that ever played or even enjoyed the games. I can't recommend it, the 3rd one in 2012 isn't bad if you just want a fantasy story, the new DnD movie in 2023, is great though, look for it instead. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/07/23 Full Review Martin D The special effects reminded me of Willow. If I were 13 watching this movie in 2000 I would have rated 5 stars. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/03/23 Full Review Jonathan B Clearly a product of its time. Put too much emphasis on by now totally outdated effects, but captures some elements of a typical D&D session pretty neatly. Has the typical rag tag role player group and an over the top story. Not everything makes sense and some characters are pretty ridiculous. Makes for a fun evening that is totally forgettable at least did back in the day, nowadays one needs to be able to overlook the bad/old effects in addition to the bad dudes shiny lips.
