Synopsis
Dunya (Maryam Hassouni), an 18-year-old Moroccan girl, and Desie (Eva van de Wijdeven), an 18-year-old Dutch girl, are best friends who live in Amsterdam. Separate crises compel the girls to journey to the same country: Dunya's parents are arranging for her to marry one of her cousins in Morocco, while Desie is seeking her long-lost biological father, who may be in Morocco as well. Together they set out to find Desie's father, but they are interrupted by several adventures along the way.
