You have to applaud the attempts to enliven the genre, but Dynamite Warrior doesn't have the visual flair or humor to make this a midnight movie worth losing sleep over.

Dynamite Warrior (Khon Fai Bin) is a 2006 Thai martial arts Western film directed by Chalerm Wongpim and starring Dan Chupong. In Thailand, the English title has been listed as Fire Warriors. It also features Samart Popteeratham and Panna Ritrikrai. Vision wrote: "thai explosions. A not miss in this one. Except they're missiles. I don't know if this was suppose to be a martial arts film or a sci-fi. The martial arts were not convincing at all. Dan Chupong shows his qualities. At the end of all his troubles is the master Panna Ritrikrai. There goes the story of the Thai tractor industry. Two fries for trying!"

This is a pretty wild film with subject matter all over the place. An early try at trying to make a bad film good by the use of a herpo who uses fireworks and dynamite to round up and defet the bad guys, South Koreas answer to Robin Hood. 2 Stars 4-1-12
