Dev Shea 1428 Elm Overall, like most zombie films, if you take this production too seriously from the beginning, you won’t enjoy yourself. But if you take it for what it is, a raunchy teen comedy with zombies and copious gore, then you will have a lot of fun with it. Sep 15, 2022 Full Review Kate Sánchez But Why Tho? A Geek Community Eat Brains Love is fine for what it is: a zombie rom-com with an undefined target audience age with humor that came straight from the 90s. But, I'd be lying if I said that the film isn't a fun romp with actors that know how to sell the script. Rated: 6/10 May 25, 2020 Full Review Mike Scott Times-Picayune Playing like an anti-Twilight, this low-budget teen zombie rom-com is irreverent, goofy and gleefully gross. But it's also endearing in its own surprisingly sweet way. Rated: 3/4 Feb 12, 2020 Full Review Norman Gidney HorrorBuzz The blood flows freely, the jokes fly for the most part, and the pic never sits still long enough to become dull. Rated: 6 Feb 7, 2020 Full Review Kat Hughes THN Utterly charming, Eat Brains Love is this generation's answer to Idle Hands. Rated: 4/5 Sep 3, 2019 Full Review Shaun Munro Flickering Myth The charms of the two central lovers prevail more often than not, abetted by a script that's just funny enough to paper over its lazier elements. Brad P It probably won't win over viewers who are truly sick to death of zombie movies, but Eat, Brains, Love at least tries to stand out from the countless other zombie films released over the last few years, with a sly satirical edge thrown in for good measure. And we have to commend it for that. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review Audience Member this was great - a very refreshing approach to the semi-hoaxy zombie comedy type film. i enjoyed this one a lot. at first i was getting "it follows" meets "i-zombie" & thought we were gonna be in trouble, lol - but it was fantastic. i enjoyed it. they left it wide open for another one, so i guess we'll see if a 2nd one gets made or not. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this was a very entertaining zombie movie, although the end left me hanging. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Epic. Awesome. Hilarious and pretty much the best thing EVER. Rodman nailed it.
