Marconious N Must see for All My Children fans. Daytime Emmy winner Susan Lucci plays Ebbi Scrooge, a lonely department store owner in this 90s update on Dickens A Christmas Carol. Love seeing la Lucci 🥰 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/26/24 Full Review Audience Member This was an interesting movie. It's an updated version of A Christmas Carol, I know another version and this version has a female Scrooge that's very modern. She owns a store rather than a bank. Ms. Scrooge seemed to give into christmas a little more and they did a marvelous job keeping to the story. I have to say this is one of the better remakes of the Charles Dickens classic. www.what-to-watch.com Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute modern day retelling of Charles Dickens' tale, some moderate overacting at times, otherwise decent Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Though I knew the story there were many scenes I thought ridiculous. Having a woman play Scrooge seemed to make it less believable that she could have a change in heart and be all nice all of a sudden. Then perhaps it was the actress. I won't be seeing that one again.
