It's an updated version of A Christmas Carol, I know another version and this version has a female Scrooge that's very modern. She owns a store rather than a bank. Ms. Scrooge seemed to give into christmas a little more and they did a marvelous job keeping to the story. Having a woman play Scrooge seemed to make it less believable that she could have a change in heart and be all nice all of a sudden. Then perhaps it was the actress. I won't be seeing that one again.
