Bear P 07/26/2024 Somehow I feel the author is more expoiting her characters (sex as taboo in old age, even old people talking about sex as taboo) rather than diving deep in their characters to show us who these people REALLY are. Secondly, the characters are simply unlikable (the super narcissistic old man, whos wife was in hospital, especially unlikable). I feel that the author has made no connection with her characters other than superficial one and, in general, lacks the ability to connect. Campy characteristics of the movie (light, shower scene, music) could be interesting but under entirely different edit. Lacks flow. See more Read all reviews
