Darren N Great independent film about high school sports on the Navajo Nation. Based on a true story about the Shiprock High School Lady Chieftains and their coach, the late Jerry Richardson. This movie is a great story about the team over coming the struggles of living on the reservation and also breaking through barriers that were once thought impossible. There is also a documentary based on this team called “Rocks With Wings” by director Rick Derby. Also this movie is titled “Edge of America” and I don’t know why it’s titled “On the Edge” on this website.
