The degree of depth and sensitivity demonstrated by Director Prateek Vats in his debut feature film is stuff of auteurs. Equally commendable are cinematographer Sahi's visuals of this social satire. Seek out this gem if you already haven't discovered it.

Eeb Allay Ooo! is the rare social satire that has the courage of its convictions. Through sweeping use of metaphor, Vats addresses themes as prickly as nationalism and religious bigotry; the plight of the marginalised, and the entitlement of the elite.

Absolutely fell in love with the movie. The cinematography perfectly captures the Delhi haze, the chaotic backdrop and the direction and acting are on point. It's a delight to watch Shardul Bhardwaj on screen as he conveys the most complex emotions with complete ease. The film is a satire and while the plot crawls forward as slowly as possible there is't a moment in the film that lacks meaning and could've been cut. Absolutely recommend this movie !

Although interesting from an ethnographic and ethological perspective, the story is pretty minimal, and it doesn't really go anywhere very interesting.
