Nothing happens in "Eephus" and it’s still one of the best damn baseball movies ever made. Go to Full Review

Eephus lets that sense of finality hum as background noise to a low-key comedy built around an Altman-esque ensemble of colorful characters who drift in and out of the spotlight as they day progresses. Go to Full Review

This movie is something of an eephus: a long, slow, looping thing that's meant to distract and delay... It's about community, and it's kind of beautiful. Go to Full Review

Sports is the subject of Eephus, a surprisingly good movie for 2025, which was an exceptionally poor year for American films. Go to Full Review

Apr 1 Nothingno reason to watch (or make) this film. See more Mar 30 Boring and pointless. See more Mar 27 A beautiful and rambling film about baseball and life, which is beautiful and rambling. See more Mar 22 Delightful film. Its a movie that stays with you long after the credits have rolled. See more Mar 22 I remember a little league game I was in, extra innings on a school night and at least 11pm, a teammate’s mom, who wasn’t at the game, came to make him come home lol. I’m glad my mom and dad always understood and share the love of the game of baseball. That’s what this movie did for me, brought back many memories of the greatest sport ever! See more Mar 21 Great pace and great characters. The overt sense of communal loss really humanizes this cast fullnof goobers. See more Read all reviews
