Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member El Arte de Morir-I cannot recommend this film. Described as a slasher, but is really a thriller that doesn't exactly thrill. Spanish film. The story of six friends with a deadly secret. Four years earlier, their friend Nacho, a rather arrogant artist whose work revolved around the idea of death, disappeared without a trace. The re-investigation of Nacho's disappearance brings the friends back together, and someone begins killing them off one by one. Yeah, very original story. Okay performances, a few tense moments, but this movie is nothing special. Starts out as a "straight" thriller, but it tries to bring in the inevitable twists and turns that have been done before in better movies. *and during the last few minutes of the film, the voices did not match up with the lips of the actors. Nitpicker, I am. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
