Audience Member An incredible hibrid movie! Original story with one of the greatest living writers in Argentina (Alberto Laiseca) as The artist. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member The Directors of El Artista manage to avoid the obvious jokes that could be made about the Art world in this wry, clever, sad and thought provoking story of a non-achiever who finds his niche in life as an Artist, albeit a fraudelent one. Its pretty low key, but fascinating to watch, as Jorge's mono-syllabic responses are misinterpreted as the very height of wit and wisdom by everyone who wants a piece of him once he's the art scene's newest sensation. He's a bit like, Peter Sellar's Chauncey in Being There, although with more sinister motives. Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
