dave j Regards an UFO setting in during the medieval period. Starring Klaus Kinski as the druid and Harvey Keitel as the wannabe knight who manages to convince a certain number of people that the UFO is a dragon. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Star Knight wants to be Dune or 2001in terms of its epic scope and high-brow concepts, but it's got the budget of an Italian postapocalyptic flick and is pursued with Ed Wood-level competence. The result is a dizzying spectacle of so-bad-it's-goodness that makes, in the end, absolutely no sense whatsoever(nor should it, as that would ruin everything). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member 76% Star crossed lovers, yada yada, you know the story, except this time, Romeo is an extraterrestrail. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member It's kind of interesting, but very goofy. It's neat to see an alien in a different time period, and it's fun how the characters interact with it. The story has that typical medieval plot to it, but it's still not too bad. The characters are annoying though, which is the biggest downside of this film. Silly and laughable, but not horrid. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is terrible in the best kind of way. Harvey Keitel's, "Are Ye Talking To Me," horrid acting makes this a must see, he isn't even trying and that is the secret to Star Knight's greatness... I'd say it's a must see for anyone with an appreciation for movies that should never have been made. For the record I'm pretty sure upon original release this was not meant as a spoof. Why were the voices overdubbed despite the characters already speaking in English? Why must the goat jump three stories instead of walking back down from the cliff? Keitel does (?) figure out how to control the ship (?) or doesn't he??? Why was he knighted and the king put in prison? Answer: doesn't matter just watch the movie. These are not spoilers, it would be impossible to ruin this movie or it's plot even if I had three days to attempt at doing so. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Overall the story is pretty meh. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
