Stephen F “Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where Nature may heal and cheer and give strength to body and soul alike.” John Muir said of El Capitan mountain and Shane Borza's heart-warming film encapsulates this sentiment. Borza and his fiancé plan to scale El Capitan to exchange wedding vows! Talk about a rocky start to a marriage. (LOL). We witness the couple preparing the wedding party for the epic climb with 6 months of planning and training. What an adventure. If you are a lover, a married person or simply a nature lover, this documentary will pull at your heartstrings and lift you up to spiritual heights. Bravo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Kolo P What an amazing yet crazy story! I love how the bride and groom managed to 'rope' their relatives into being part of the wedding party, several hundred feet up the side of El Cap! The film captures that classic El Cap view and imposing sheer face and provides a human perspective on the things that driven rock climbers in their passions. Very neat how the filmmaker captured the progression of the relatives learning to climb and and learn the technical aspects needed in order to be safe on the mountain. Though there are many stomach churning views down the face of El Cap, I'm sure that is was more scary in person. Great watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/25 Full Review Read all reviews
