Synopsis
Over the course of a single election day in 2004, filmmaker Katy Chevigny follows a diverse cross section of Americans from all over the country as they prepare to vote. The documentary introduces various subjects, including an ex-con and first time voter from New York and voters at a Native American rally in South Dakota. Also examined is a heated race for sheriff in Florida. On the ground level, Chevigny explores the democratic process and the people who make it happen.
