Elektra Luxx has its moments, but the overriding reaction is "Why?" Not only did its predecessor not merit a sequel by anyone's standards, but this is a forgettable film briefly buoyed by lines and energetic performances.

Not that there's a lot of substance here in the first place. Gutierrez's movie is superficial and slick in most respects, and if not for its amazing cast of veteran and up-and-coming character actors I don't there would be much here to talk about.

Not sure why it got such a low rating. The cast is pretty strong, full of reputable actors, with the script humourous and well played; it had me chuckling outloud several times. And even though the story is a bit odd, it had solid moments of lucidity and punch.

If this movie is food it will be week old mystey meatballs, microwaved over and over and over again over the course of said week but still ends up soggy and cold in the middle. I wasnt able to take anything from it except waste my goddamn time or maybe some startled giggle from the dumb lesbian pornstar, 'sharpest stool in the box' haha you get half a star for that cause i love poo jokes
