His teammates boot him out of the league in an unexpected backlash, so he joins a friend's amateur team. Richard James Havis The Hollywood Reporter [Eleven Men Out] thoughtful and funny characters, something that should give this droll drama appeal beyond a niche gay audience. May 20, 2006 Full Review Ed Gonzalez Slant Magazine There's at least a half dozen movies fighting for attention here, none of them particularly appealing. Rated: 2/4 Mar 10, 2006 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety A non-pandering crowd-pleaser whose character quirks and small stabs at poignancy feel refreshingly earned. Sep 26, 2005 Full Review David Cornelius DVDTalk.com A too-thin dramedy with good intentions but poor results. Audience Member Eleven Men Out is tedious to watch due to its mostly unlikeable characters and very little story to tell with a monotonous outcome Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Wow! what a rollercoaster of probable thrills in this quite possibly good/shit sports themed piece of cinematography. Sweaty jocks with sweaty jocks and balls galore.. Hurrraaaaahhh!!!! it would probably have reminded me of my dear friend Bunty D'amore and his arse loving chums from the Winchester Club if I'd bothered to watch it. Truly awful 2.2 /00000.13 and a dirty great thumbs down from me folks. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Much wasted potential. Expediency of plot does not mean character or subtleties should be sacrificed just because you have a topical storyline. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Ugh I really wanted to like this movie but the plot line really goes nowhere. Other than the hot main character coming out, nothing else happens. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Ugh I really wanted to like this movie but the plot line really goes nowhere. Other than the hot main character coming out, nothing else happens. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Great concept for a movie. If you like this theme, watch Guys and Balls, it's a better version of this theme, though still not top notch. Not much to say about this movie, kinda drab, ground breaking at the time but boring in plot, story and acting. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
