Michael C "Elke," also known as "Friend of the Family," is a classic '90s erotic drama that takes place in a fancy California mansion by the coast. It’s all about a dysfunctional family dealing with their own set of issues. The mom, played by Griffin Drew, is unhappy because her husband isn’t interested in her romantically anymore. Meanwhile, her daughter, played brilliantly by Lisa Boyle, is the total opposite, always bringing boys over and not afraid to show some skin, even getting caught by her mom in a hot tub with a guy. Then Shauna O'Brien shows up as Elke, shaking things up even more. Her arrival sparks a bunch of drama and even some pretty steamy dreams for the mom, who imagines herself with her daughter's boyfriend. The story might not be the most believable, but it’s packed with the kind of erotic scenes that you’d expect from a '90s softcore movie. Lisa Boyle’s character starts off as a real piece of work but ends up turning things around, which adds a nice twist to the whole movie. elke ends up with the dad, not for romance, but to make him see how great his wife is.
