Trude Weiss Close Up Most of the children play very naturally and you can see how much they like It. And the audience likes it too, children as well as grown-ups, though I do not think that the film is quite as tastefully done as the book is written. andrey k A lovely and engaging child-film ignited by an amusing and at times frightening confrontation between a group of children and a mean thief who stole the money from one of the boys. Light will surely overcome darkness in this one. Some scenes executed beautifully as the one where a boy hides under the bed and is trying to recover the stolen money.
