David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...isn't nearly as much fun as one imagines it's supposed to be. Rated: 2/4 Feb 11, 2006 Full Review Christopher Null Filmcritic.com The only way to make this film any worse is to listen to the dubbed version, which turns Reno's deep growl into a lilting voice that wouldn't be out of place on an episode of Friends. Audience Member 12 lat temu podobał mi się. Teraz to słabo wygląda. Książka dużo lepsza. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member i give five stars because the acting is really good in this movie but the story really messed with my head, gave me nightmares...so i give five stars. the best thing about this movie though is how its filmed...in true sequence there is no lapse in time jumping to the next day and characters show up bruised and battered and no time outs. its very fluid and has a very rel life feel to it.. Jean Reno plays a cop ruthless and unpredictable. Jocelyn Quivrin steals the show and sadly in looking him up I discovered he tragically passed away. The subject matter is dark and twisted, when a movie leaves you feeling this uncomfortable it deserves 5 stars ....its not for everyone...very violent subject matter. but 5 stars for acting and cinematography/ production... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member A nervous dark police investigation drama about a cop and his new partner going through an investigation in the Turkish black market in Paris after the discovery of a murdered immigrant. It's not for the light hearted. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Winning example of style over substance--Well secondary, yet watchable!! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A woman is convinced there is more behind her mental disorder than her husband tells her and a detective gets help from an expelled cop in looking for a serial killer among France's Turkish community. Somehow, the two stories have an underground organisation in common, but the film obviously opted for the visual appeal rather than the narrative one, as the screenplay feels deeply flawed and the pace of the film contributes to its absolute mess. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A thriller. suprising and scary and full of darkness, rain, shooting and other violence. Entertaining though... with pretty ladies and all.... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
