Ty Burr Boston Globe Wants to be a subtle, penetrating look at a group of 30-somethings and the lies they tell one another. Sometimes it achieves that aim. Audience Member I'm not sure what I just watched here, but it was entertaining enough. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member it was a bit difficult telling the intermingled friends apart in the beginning but it gradually began clear what their complex web of lies were. the acting was credible and yet sad if they were meant to portray life. in general each one of them were in situations that appear to be modestly happy, but at the end of the day there's just discontent. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member what has become of 30-somethings? do we lie to self and/or each other all the time? unfortunately, not a single character was compelling... i was fighting sleep to get to the end of this movie. interestingly, hubs asked what i would do if a late 30-something peer dates my teenage niece... hmm... food for thought! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Some situations and aspects of the characters are interesting, but most of the movie is a little dull. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Shallow but pleasing deception-galore about adult relationships. Allen-esque story of a group of friends in their thirties and their secrets and lies, but mostly reduced to some bed-surfing.
