03/24/2016 Glicko, Fluff, Pippo, Gamba & Nono! My sister & I watched THE ENCHANTED JOURNEY (1984) anime movie over & over as children. Not as visually detailed as say "The Secret of NIMH" or even "The Last Unicorn" but just as deep (void of the shallowness/gender-vapidness of most Disney tales). Orson Welles did the voice of Pippo the pigeon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enchanted_Journey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6280C94UY-w See more 11/11/2008 :fresh: Great children's movie about the adventures of two chipmunks named Glicko and No-No. Glicko's resolve to make it to the forest, despite the adversity that he faces along the way -ranging from animals that want to eat him to others that want him to give up his quest- gives a good lesson to children about never giving up on a dream even when obstacles are placed in your way and to fight for what you want to accomplish. I grew up as a kid and watched it over and over because it was that great :) Its a adventure film that doesn't require someone to like anime to appreciate it.. its about finding home. Beautiful graphics for the time, catchy songs and a inspirational story line See more 10/28/2007 journey ahead of time.. See more 08/24/2007 I used to love this movie.
