It's a chilling look at the way the U.S. has moved closer and closer to being a closed society ever since 9/11. The film outlines how we have followed many of the same steps â" censorship of the press, detainment of citizens, subversion of the law, use of paramilitary groups, etc. â" that other oppressive regimes have throughout the 20th century; regimes that ultimately ended in all-out dictatorships.
