This documentary-like Chinese drama follows the daily life of the Li family. Li Maojie (Li Maojie) and his wife, Fu Derong (Fu Derong), meet while working as ballroom dancers, but, not long into their marriage, he begins to drink excessively and becomes mentally unstable. Maojie and Derong's two sons, Ji (Li Ji) and Wei (Wei Li), eventually develop alcohol problems themselves, creating even more tensions. Can the family overcome its seemingly insurmountable problems?
