See more Jack S 10/18/2024 Another example of wildly overstated Tomatometer reviews deceiving me into checking out what’s in fact just another unworthy film! I should first say that this one actually begins rather well, as a couple who’ve experienced a motorcycle accident move into the wife’s country home where all is not as it seems. Sadly, it begins to fly off the rails during its mid-section when characters we don’t really know or care about start to do things that don’t make sense. The actors are fine and the location is appropriately creepy, but the second half is not only baffling but just plain stupid. It wasn't Callum's fault about the crash, it was the other driver who shouldn't have overtaken and caused the crash plus the girl was goading him to go faster. The fact that the boyfriend left his girlfriend in that house with those strangers is messed up. They must have offered him some a lot of money so that they could keep her there. The treatment from the strangers was horrid. The part when that guy raped that lady and got her pregnant was f'ed up. She found out that her mom killed herself. The whole movie was just bizarre. See more 11/24/2021 The first half of this movie had good pacing and suspense. The second half of this movie falls apart when it expects you to come to conclusions no reasonable person should be expected to come to. It waited way too long to explain any relevant plot points, leaving viewers annoyed and completely confused. Once you finally understand the backstory, you realize it's a weak explanation for the events taking place and wasn't worth waiting for. See more Read all reviews
