Brent is not a happy director. For weeks, he's had to watch an awful play -- his awful play. Adding insult to injury, he's convinced his wife is having an affair with his idiot leading man. Fortunately for Brent, the theater's Janitor has been mopping the stage long enough to know a dark secret that may help rid him of his troubles. That is, so long as he’s willing to get some blood on his hands.

Samantha McLaren MovieJawn Though it’s neither particularly scary nor laugh-out-loud funny (not that it’s trying to be either), Et Tu is marked by a clever, cunning streak of dark humor that it manages to maintain for most of its runtime. Angelica R Great movie, cast was excellent. I recommend this movie, you won’t be disappointed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/12/25 Full Review david l This movie was great!!!! Lou Diamond is at the absolute top of his game!!! Full disclosure, I wanted to distribute this film myself and I just hope to god that everyone watched this!! It's funny, dark, bloody, and heart felt. Malcom McDowell is excellent as always. The whole cast is amazing and the director and editor really flex their skills. You never feel like you're in a contained film, the story moves and the pacing is excellent. Put your phones down and watch every second of this film, you won't regret it!!! RENT IT!!! DON'T WAIT FOR AVOD!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/11/25 Full Review Grant C Academy award performance by Lou Diamond Phillips as a director of Shakespeare’s play about Julius Caesar. His slow slip into madness is both tragic and funny. All of the other actors are polished as well. The writing is clever, the movie is fast paced and entertaining. It is a play within a play. Quite cerebral. The first murder is startling, there is quite a bit of blood but not really scary, you almost get used to the killings after a while. There is a wry humor mixed in with it all. The soundtrack is great and best heard in a movie theater. the performers are classic stereotypes for anyone who has been on stage. The movie ending has a big twist that can be interpreted multiple ways. This movie will become a cult classic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/10/25 Full Review Beverly T. I loved it! It was captivating, creative, entertaining with great acting. I highly recommend watching it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/09/25 Full Review Ann E If you like dark dramedys, this is one you need to watch! Lou Diamond Phillips, as Director, Brent, of the play, Julius Caesar, will give you more than a few chills as he falls deeper and deeper into madness! The supporting cast, including Brennan Keel Cook as Marcus and Antwone Barnes as Terrence have more than enough talent and standout moments to go around. Ego, desire, and passion prove to be the catalysts for the unraveling sanity of both Marcus and Terrence as well! Finally, add in Malcom McDowell as The Janitor with a graphic knowledge of the deep, dark history of the old theatre and you find yourself discovering darker and more disturbing secrets in every twist of the story. As Brent begins speaking with the janitor, you begin to wonder who the true “director” is in the story! The humor is so dark, you almost feel guilty for laughing. Both Lou Diamond Phillips and Malcolm McDowell showcase how versatile and powerful their acting skills are📽️ It’s a great movie to watch with friends or significant others. I would not recommend it for children due to an adult theme and some graphic gore. It’s streaming now on Prime and Plex. Well worth the watch 😐🍿 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/09/25 Full Review Audience Member I was blown away by this movie . Was extremely good .
