Audience Member 0 minutes ago via Rotten Tomatoes Euphoria (Eyforiya)(2006) I am sure there is much to say and much to draw from this great work. In fact, when I saw it in a cultural channel in Mexico, the film was presented as one of the best and most emblematic of the present Russian Federation. Euphoria, as its name tells us, introduces us to the passion, the vivacious energy and the fierce power that emotions have, and what we see here is a very broad landscape in such a remote area that few could imagine that there are people there and which have an entire culture. It is developed during summer, so it is no coincidence that the extensive steppes are presented naked and this shows us the face of what is a hostile territory in winter but despite the heat of the season it continues to be a desert. Although there are silences throughout the film, and that these reign in all the environment that surrounds the characters, the problems between them, betrayals and failures do not go unnoticed. Not even the celebrations nor the fights are absent here, that is why on so many occasions, it goes from an apparent calm towards a drowned and very strange escape of two lovers whose tension but true and passionate love always excels and is the one that does vibrate throughout all its surroundings. It is also possible to appreciate a little how people live in these areas, their struggle every day to get food or that having to go to a doctor becomes so complicated by the distances so wide that they even seem to show as infinite, being really good resources we have to notice along the film. A movie that must be seen more than once, to understand all those who live in a world apart and hidden from us but not so different from what we live in the West. It contains a very beautiful and precise photograph that reveals the capacity of the director and the image makers as they do not fail to show perfect portraits of looks, poses and landscapes that configure the whole tape so harmoniously that they do not even have to contemplate with The use of other resources such as dialogues or music. Highly recommended because beyond being a beautiful work of art is an experience that is worth introducing and approaching the perception of our senses. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Hetkittain vahan kummallisesti leikattu (ja kieltamatta muutenkin aika kummallinen), mutta visuaalisuudessaan kiehtova kolmiodraama of sorts Don-joen maisemista.
