Anton Bitel Little White Lies a rambunctious, often hilarious trawl through the archives, told with much good humour, but also with careful contextualisation and genuine cultural as well as critical analysis. Aug 31, 2012 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com Malloy's film works for hardcore fans, but also should function as a taster for novices; there's enough tantalising clips and stories to spark interest in the toughest genre of films ever made. Rated: 4/5 May 23, 2021 Full Review Roger Smith FILMINK (Australia) At times, it does become slightly episodic in its treatment, but at the same time successfully contextualises this all but forgotten period of Italian film history. Apr 24, 2015 Full Review Shaun Munro What Culture This is a scholarly assessment of the cult genre, but also a neat, passionate and informed one. evan g Fun, informative and any film with Franco Nero, Fred Williamson, Richard Harrison, John Saxon, Henry Silva is worth my time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Eurocrime is a fantastic documentary that takes you through the history from spaghetti westerns to the crazed gangster films in Italy. The methods the italians used to direct and how the mob had influence on some shoots is fascinating. With the run time of 2hr 17mins, it could've been trimmed down. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I knew nothing about this genre of films, but after watching this I really want to watch them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member A bit long but highly recommended for newcomers & jaded fans alike Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
