Widowed architect Eva (Miranda Caharija) has a solid career, a nice home, two children, a lover and a problem: She's dissatisfied with life, feeling and acting as if it has no purpose. When she is offered the chance to design new jail cells, she feels oddly intrigued by the proposition; unfortunately, her momentum quickly dissipates after clashing with the warden. A visit to her aging father also fails to inspire her, pushing Eva to the brink, and even to crime, in order to break the dull spell.
