Those with an adolescent nostalgia for video-nasty era degradation/retribution may be mildly titillated, but Lynch has neither the wit nor desire to raise this above the level of faux-retro fanboy fantasy.

Lynch shows some visual flair with a few clever, Tarantino-like touches but the film overall is a deadening and claustrophobic experience, in which the human interest diminishes as rapidly as the body count rises.

i wish i could give this movie a better rating. I thought it would have been an awesome movie when i saw the trailer, but i have been disappointed. The movie had no plot or storyline that the audience could follow. i expected it to be a great action pact movie, and it did have its violent thrilling moments, but this movie needed more...idk life to it. I didn't feel that the movie really had any meaning, of course its a movie and just for entertainment, but even movies need to make sense so that the audience can enjoy it! i am very disappointed with the outcome of this movie. And so, i give it a 1 out of five. hopefully they can make a better movie

This was BAD. I mean BAAAAAD! There's so many holes in the plot that I cut it off about 4 times. It almost seems disrespectful to Salma Hayek to actually watch it. I'm pretty sure she also wants to act like this never took place. It's THAT bad. It's so bad that you struggle to figure out how the director didn't see how bad it was. There's almost nothing about it that makes sense. The little girl is autistic or something because she has like 0 sense of danger. Like this little girl would point at a fire and say "It's hot" and run right into it. It's no character's level of intelligence is higher than the little girl's. Nobody has a sense of self-preservation in this movie. 90 minutes of death, explosions and gunshots and the SWAT team doesn't show up until the end. But wait....the police were there 15-20 mins in, evacuating the building, but somehow didn't evacuate every floor. Don't use your brain cells on this movie.

I am not sure what job opportunities are coming Salma Hayek's way, but can't be many. This film was beneath any self-respecting actor or actress. Garbage.
