Diana S Writing is trite and irritating. Actor that plays the original Sam is wooden and annoying. It's like if Ghost and some awful Lifetime thriller had a baby. Six thumbs down. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/23 Full Review Daydream u "Every Time I Die" is a mind-bending and intriguing thriller that takes viewers on a suspenseful and thought-provoking journey. With its unique premise of a murdered man's consciousness traveling through the bodies of his friends to protect them from his killer, this film offers a fresh twist on the genre and keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/10/23 Full Review Orlando C What an engaging, interesting, and dare I say, sweet film? I have seen so many horrible free films on Prime that it was refreshing to watch something that had deeper themes and characters you actually cared for. It's very small budget, the weird wormhole thingy is about all the CGI you're going to get, but it's effective enough to suspend your disbelief. Of course, that whole thing isn't really explained, but unlike most small-budget films, it's not a dealbreaker or really important to the themes of the film. Yes, the big reveal is telegraphed about half-way through the film but I honestly don't think the film makers really cared you could figure it out. But If you're mature enough to see something that unfolds in a very deliberate and interesting way, instead of hitting you over the head, you're going to really enjoy this film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Lagrange P This an outstanding film seeks lofty goals and achieves them all. A great script and plenty of character development combine with top drawer filmmaking to keep you firmly planted in a state that feels a lot like a hypnotic trance. At the end, it's all payoff. Everything comes clearly together, and a sort of double twist resolves it all. A film that proves conclusively that a quality genre film does not need an ambiguous, "interpret it for yourself because I'm not sure what I'm trying to say," arthouse ending to make you think. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie shows you that you don't need much of a budget to make something engaging. Some of the acting could use some work but the story and the directing make up for it. Looking forward to what this director does next! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member It was actually a decent concept. I could see the final revelation coming by halfway through the movie. It was just cheap, though. Noel Murray Los Angeles Times The ultimate payoff in "Every Time I Die" is too soft, given all the buildup. But the film works well when it's purely existential - just telling the story of a person with a hazy memory, trying to survive long enough to understand his own life. Aug 8, 2019 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter The film bodes well for its talented director/co-screenwriter who might well achieve bigger things with a more generous budget. Aug 8, 2019 Full Review Alix Turner Ready Steady Cut A character-driven supernatural thriller that keeps viewers puzzling out what's happening along with its main character, Every Time I Die introduces a director and actors to watch out for. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 6, 2021 Full Review Keri O'Shea Warped Perspective Overall, Every Time I Die has a rather languid, sombre tone, which makes the occasional, rapid changes of pace and action genuinely unsettling, jerking the viewer into a sense of alarm. Rated: 3/5 Jul 12, 2020 Full Review Norman Gidney HorrorBuzz With just a singular location and five characters Michael and Katzir hurdle us into a mind-bending metaphysical thriller that is, truly, remarkable. Rated: 7 Feb 10, 2020 Full Review Rob Aldam Backseat Mafia A superior indie riddle and a strikingly singular film. Oct 8, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
