Horror fans seeking more typical home invasion fears will find something quite different in Everyone Is Going to Die. Those seeking more from their horror experience will discover a hauntingly cerebral and remarkably mature, confident debut. Go to Full Review

“Everyone is Going to Die” is a home invasion thriller that’s so intensely invested in being a patriarchal critique that it forgets such things as building suspense, story coherence, and sticking its ending. Go to Full Review

The movie attempts to take a big swing in its themes of trauma and revenge, but it somehow smacks itself right in the face. Go to Full Review

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 6d Everyone Is Going to Die tries to deliver a modern home-invasion horror experience, but it ends up feeling like a collage of scenes borrowed from better films. The masked-intruder concept has been done countless times, and this version adds nothing new or engaging. Instead, the movie leans on clichés and familiar beats without offering originality or tension. The screenplay is the biggest issue, feeling more like a collection of recycled ideas than a fully developed story. There’s no real character development, no atmosphere, and no sense of creativity driving the narrative. It plays flat from start to finish, relying on tropes instead of crafting genuine fear or suspense. While the cast attempts to bring some life to the material, the direction lacks vision and the film never finds its own identity. Ultimately, it feels rushed, uninspired, and unable to justify its existence. I can’t recommend it. See more Kyle M Nov 24 Ignorant psychology unhelpfully tackled by devil’s advocate whilst relying on the withheld twists, with the final push being slightly predictable, for dramatic purposes fogs its insufferably executed commentary in demented fashion. You’re forced to suspend your disbelief for the first hour of the movie when the protagonists could have disarmed and killed their kidnappers at any point, it’s almost as if the main characters wanted to remain in custody. When the revelations start coming, it’s clear how absolutely nonsensical the plot of this movie really is. The payoff made zero sense and the reaction of the main characters is even less cogent. This is an insane movie. I believe it was supposed to paint a picture of how terrible this man is but that’s completely lost in the inane plot and awful writing. See more Nov 11 This movie makes you wonder what is going on. From home invasion to... something else, but you cant quite figure out what. That mystery is what drives this movie. Original, fun, definitely uncomfortable, but well wortht th watch. See more Don Z Nov 10 As a x-Navy SEAL… there were times early on in the film where dad could have disarmed the bad guys and shot the hell out of them. This fact alone lost my interest immediately… and it looks as though I was right, all bad reviews. See more Read all reviews
