A riveting haunting chronicle of a young mother who's lost her baby (a splendid Radha Mitchell), the film lacks sharp narrative but has emotional immediacy and intensity and displays the voice of a gifted director, Marc Forster, a major talent to watch Go to Full Review

Megan 05/02/2024 Honestly this was a very good movie. I enjoyed watching Megan Mullally doing some drama See more 01/09/2013 not too much clearly. i wearing for more posivilitis the baby are live See more 04/26/2011 A very sad, depressing movie that doesn't really go anywhere. Acting is ok and a bit confusing at times. Pretty average. See more 12/20/2009 The story of a white, materialistic suburban couple who become mildly perturbed when their newborn dies of SIDS. Nothing to see here. See more 06/17/2009 I really enjoyed this! I don't understand all the negative reviews I'm seeing. Anyway, Radha Mitchell did a great job a woman who lost her newborn child and is spiraling into a deep depression and madness. It was portrayed very well. That last shot of her on the couch, then fading into white was BRILLIANT! I'm also a hater of shooting cinema on digital/video (except docs) but for this film the look worked for some reason. I recommend this, but it's definitely not a light subject matter. See more 12/01/2008 When the directing is not getting in the way of the story and the performances it is really quite compelling.
