Audience Member 1931 Hollywood Vaudeville Feature Comedy, "EVERYTHING'S ROSIE," from Radio Pictures that year. btw - I loved the movie soooo much - it's verrry, very funnie - that I sent off to a shop on the other side of the Earth, in fire-torn Australia, for the only place I could find a copy. . . . and, they have more copies of it, too; while the now-going-so-corporate T. C. M. (where I watched the film) doesn't even offer it, at any price! Beware: Though it may be considered by some to be so-called "dated," or "canned stage," even "primitive," it's definitely with adult themes, if even coarse and politically incorrect, in spots. But, even as such, it seems quite an accurate record of the artform all but extinct then, by 1930: VAUDEVILLE. . . . with perhaps an added light touch of Burlesque, here or there. Moreover, so-called "adult," Anita Louise was all of 16 years old by the time of release in the Spring of 1931. When seen in that light and spirit, it does offer and ending on a very sweet, warm and touching, even tender, note. ~CJM . . . Tampa, Florida U.S.A. .
