Clarisse E @Clarisse629 1d I was hooked from beginning to end. A very well written screenplay, with lots of puns and poetic references. Quite comedic at times despite the dark nature of the story. The plot twists are well distributed and interesting. Overall, this is a must see thriller. I highly recommend watching it! See more Petronius B @Malvolio 2d Highly recommended by a friend, I wasn't sure about watching a film shot in one room but within minutes I realised why it never went outside. The location was incredibly atmospheric and the sealed door only added to the suspense. The references to other classic thrillers are pretty clever and the blend of pitch dark comedy and not so much 'whodunit' as 'has he done it' weaves through a truly fiendish battle of wits between the characters. Several times I felt smug about guessing what would come next, only to have the rug pulled from under me. The design is terrifically detailed and the cinematography incredibly impressive for a low budget indie. Although I only knew Christina Cole from SUITS, the rest of the cast are great. Peter Benedict in the lead role is simultaneously hilarious and frightening and I think Christian Greenway as his bodyguard is a star in the making. I don't know how it's possible for two people to direct one film but it worked. Fun plot if you like your politicians a bit (understatement!) on the sinister side. Worth watching on a bigger-than-phone screen as the detail in the sets is superb! Well worth a watch. Peter Benedict is deliciously creepy in another highly accomplished performance from this talented actor. The supporting cast are also excellent. Alternating laugh out loud moments with gasp inducing twists, this is a rollercoaster of a thriller.
