I liked this because I like kooky, offbeat movies ,but it ended without going any where. Plus, it was never explained why the straight young man was interested in cross dressing.

A lost opportunity to be a very good movie ! Not to mention the last 20 minutes... That's a pity: The acting is well done and the main characters are empathetic more than bizarre. But something went wrong at the end...

The extra man could’ve benefited with a better script and more laughs. The movie wants to be a quirky comedy but it just doesn’t go that extra mile. The performances here are good and Kevin Kline plays a especially funny quirky character. I just wanted more. Other actors in the film like John C Reilly are barely used and wasted.
