Wealthy Thad Cameron seeks advice from attorney Hattie Waters on leaving his fortune to his nephew, unaware that she's maneuvering to steal the boy's inheritance. Hattie has Thad killed by her pack of wild dogs, but one dog goes missing. When Dr. Cookie Bullfincher deems the death was not by wolves as it appeared, but dogs, Roy Rogers investigates. After Roy captures the stray dog, it becomes vital in unraveling the unusual murder.

ashley h Eyes of Texas is a decent film. It is about a ranch owner who turns his place into a home for boys who have lost their fathers in World War II. Roy Rogers and Lynne Roberts give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. William Witney did an alright job directing this movie.
