Audience Member I kind of stumbled on this film and thought I'd check it out. Safe to say not what I expected at all. It's almost impossible to tell but fading petals is a no-budget film which makes it all the more impressive. This is the director's first film and he nails it, especially the script and the dialogue. The acting is insanely good, the soundtrack is haunting and the cinematography is at times beautiful. The reveal is really interesting (although arguably there are two or maybe more interpretations possible) but I think it's less about that and is really a film that looks at loss and regret by focusing on very complicated and troubled characters. The film has stuck with me and I still have questions. I might watch it again and then it might be 5 stars. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member What an impressive film. Deep, lots of emotions and great acting. The ending had me by surprise though. Well done, I highly recommend this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Shikhar Verma High on Films There are two things the chaos does to the film. Firstly, it unnecessarily drags on into paranoia mode; secondly, it further convolutes the already confusing narrative. Rated: 2/5 May 23, 2022 Full Review Louisa Moore Screen Zealots A thoughtful and well-written, if a bit slow, piece of female-centered cinema. May 12, 2022 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Fading Petals is an engaging film and a film that demands we look inward and reflect upon the past and whether it can ever truly be forgiven or forgotten. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Apr 24, 2022 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com while Fading Petals lo-fi feel may be too bare-bones for thrill-seekers, its an accomplished little chamber piece thats worth commending to those looking for something more serious Rated: 3/5 Mar 25, 2022 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat Fading Petals is not flawless, but as a debut title, it is a strong calling card.
