G A "Fall in Love" (original title: 爱神来了) is a pleasant romance about two people navigating through a series of coincidental meetings as they each search for a romantic partner. It will not take much detective work to figure out where their journey will end up, but that is not the point of this type of movie. Fortunately, the appealing cast, led by the popular Chung Hon Leung (also known as Wallace Chung) and Wang Ziwen (also known as Olvia Wang), is top-notch. And director Ming Hua keeps things interesting by adding a few nonlinear elements that highlight parts of the story that might otherwise get lost. Overall, this is a satisfying genre movie with good performances and a few artistic touches. (In Mandarin with English subtitles.)
