Raul Y I really don't understand why people set expectations that would fit a,theatrical movie release for a movie release. These are comfort food movies. The film equivalent of a box of chocolates. I don't *want* depth or having to follow a plot. I just want some feel-goods with a happily-ever-after. For what it's *intended* to be, it does the job nicely. This had a promising premise, but Lori Loughlin’s curt dry performance is perfunctory and stale. My biggest pet peeve though was the fact that she and her assistant handled chocolates with their BARE HANDS( gross). Any legit candy shop would have the employees wearing food safe gloves. Both seemed out of sync over explaining the past and not really getting anywhere emotionally with each other. Even the secondary couple was a struggle to watch to get together. For me personally I didn’t find that they had a connection to fall in love? Definitely not a great Christmas romance move.
