I thought this was a great feel good Christmas movie. A little predictable, probably, but sometimes that's a good thing. This is one of those times. It brought just the right dash of intrigue, heartbreak, and tears of joy.

This movie is a classic example of reaching for inclusivity. As a Latino person I thought it was ridiculous to make the kid mixed but that having no cultural significance at all, nobody spoke Spanish, nobody cooked anything Latino… it was just to make it seem inclusive and that's annoying. The dialogue was way too cheesy… even for a Christmas movie!. Overall just super insignificant.

Lindsay Lohan’s return to romantic comedies feels like the best kind of homecoming for 90s kids. Lohan was a tremendous part of our lives growing up, and having her in a Christmas film as adults feels like a warm hug of sorts.
