Marie's C This movie is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen in my life. You have to be a person that believes in fate maybe have lived in New York or a hopeless romantic to really understand how powerful this movie is. I saw this movie years ago and I have never forgotten it. I have always recommended this movie. Robert Deniro and Meryl Streep bring something very powerful and innocent to the screen. This movie had a deep message in it and in a way was very spiritual for me. It shows how we may have a plan of how our life will be but then fate takes over. The scenery is great and the movie is very well written and directed. One of the best most simplistic movies they ever made. Not to mention Harvey Keitel and his co host were synonymous. I highly recommend this movie and I was born in 1972. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Horror fan 4 It was a fun time. Love the Xmas time stuff. In the end though it was predictable but the performances of de Niro and streep make it worthwhile. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Hilife Health Care r What a terrible movie. DeNIro and Streep are completely wasted. I could not make it past the half way mark, before turning the movie OFF. Save your time do not go near this piece of garbage. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review M O I seriously would rather have a root canal than be forced this cliched, insipid movie again. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Tracy F Seriously, what a dork. I could have been doing many other things instead of watching a movie where the ending is just MEH. Two married people have an affair, lackluster, hardly speaking to each other during the entire thing, and DeNiro has a sweet wife and two precious sons; Streep has a terrific husband who is very financially well off (a doctor). These two idiots have to spoil both families by their lackluster fling, which is really a complete waste of both of them. Film was made in 1984, back in the day when I still believed the world was a half-decent place. This movie shows it wasn't, even back then. Nowadays movies are much worse, but... that's what Hollywood does. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review steve d I love the cast, but it didn't work for me.
