A lyric film….not a lot of action but a lot of emotion. Great acting. About the messiness of our lives and the beauty and the challenges of family. I’ll watch it again in two weeks to see what I missed the first go round.

One of the best films in a long time, tucked away in the barrage of films on Netflix. Quiet, like a meditation on what Familias can be. Each and everyone gets their moment. No fat. No gimmicks. They all listen. Like it or not, it’s their story. And as we say, “es lo que hay y somos lo que somos.”

Beautiful film. Many moving moments. Slow pace, but the action is all inside the characters, rather like a play by Chekhov or Ibsen. I recommend to anyone with a heart and a brain that need feeding.
