Went into this film with very low if not no expectations that it was going to be any good and boy was I wrong. It was hilarious and as a massive Star Wars fan I appreciated all the references, was also not expecting to see Seth Rogen or Danny Trejo. Definitely recommend.

When I looked up the rating for Fanboys on Rotten Tomatoes I almost fell out of my chair. 32%??? Are you kidding me? I get it if someone who isn't a Star Wars or Trek fan doesn't get this movie, but I expected professional movie critics to understand what was transpiring onscreen! Fanboys is both hysterical and heartwarming. Made for a huge segment of fans in this country who love all things Star Wars. One is dying, so the others take him on a roadtrip to steal a print of the yet to be released Menace Phantom. I don't know. When it comes to comedies critics have no idea how to judge something that is inherently silly or riotous. Some of the funniest comedies have gotten the worst review aggregate on Rotten Tomatoes. Waiting is another prime example. Or Down Periscope. Horrible aggregates on R.T. Yet people love em. I guess laughter in a movie is disruptive to some people. They leave feeling annoyed that so many people were enjoying themselves while they were trying to make notes of how horrible it was. The Philistines!

It's a good goofy film to kill the time. Other than that it's not much more. I don't agree with the statement: "If you're a die hard fan you'll love this movie!" I'm a huge Star Wars fan and definitely don't feel that way. It has that early 2000's comedy style but nothing compared to a Judd Apatow movie.

Loved the movie. You do not have to be a fan to enjoy this movie, but if you are a star wars or star trek fan- you will go nuts watching it- cheering out loud at certain parts= amazing fun movie
