Birithivy Y Farhana - 7/10. Nelson Venkatesan's previous movie was a super great film (Monster). My issue for this movie is that it had a great premise in terms of telling the plight and struggles that these call centre workers have to go through. They have to deal with really seedy people and the antics that they put up in terms of the way they talk to these workers. Also, the social commentary about why Farhana needs to go into the job field, why she wants to be able to work, and the craving of independence and wanting to be heard is interesting. My main gripe about this movie is that it wants to be two movies at once (trying to be this message based movie and also being this thriller as well). Had it just dedicated it self to being this one genre movie, it would've been great! But we're left with a movie that is good in general, but wasted opportunity to be something more!
