In this documentary, New York city sculptor Jeremy Spear decides to temporarily abandon his artistic endeavors and return to sports, his first love. Relying on his background in baseball, he joins a fast-pitch softball team, the Abbott Labs, based in Ashland, Ohio. Spear films his experiences as a player, and explores the business sponsorships behind the teams while taking a look at the disparate dreamers who view fast-pitch softball as a stepping stone toward a career in professional baseball.
