It's a story of fatherhood that treats its characters with kindness and compassion, rather than as a spectacle. Go to Full Review

There is definitely a generic, formulaic feeling about this movie, but there is also a sweetness and an emotional range. Go to Full Review

David S @David429 3d Wow this is a great movie Kevin Hart displays all his talents in this movie he does such a great job at his dramatic side. This movie mixes drama and comedy very well glad to see movies about dads like this. This movie nails all the emotion in the right spots. It knows when to be funny and when to be serious. Melody Hurd is a scene stealer. If I did not know any better I would have thought they were father and daughter they have good chemistry together. All the other actors and actresses are awesome. I belive This movie shows what it is to be a real single dad. I've heard people say real men don't leave thier kids. The acting, directing, comedy and drama is good in this movie and so is the story. If you have not seen this movie then I recommend you do See more Isabella M. @Bella055 Nov 28 I loved this movie. I thought it was really heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I thought it was really well written and preformed. See more Aluna U Sep 26 Fatherhood is a heartfelt drama-comedy based on Matthew Logelin’s real-life memoir, portraying his journey as a single father after losing his wife shortly after childbirth. While the film takes creative liberties—like altering family dynamics and character meetings—to heighten emotional tension, it stays true to the core story and emotional depth. Kevin Hart’s compelling performance brings humor and sincerity to the role, making the film a touching and relatable tribute to love, grief, and fatherhood. I was impressed by the cast as they’re usually known for their comedic roles. I enjoyed the father/daughter relationship between Mike and Maddy. I recommend it. See more Lucas F Mar 3 it’s completely generic, ordinary, uninteresting, boring and almost unwatchable. i quit after halfway because i wanted to spend my time doing something more important then watching a kevin hart (a great actor) perform as a character who is as interesting as a medieval pink pine cone. i hated all the characters and i ended up cheering when the lady dies. DO NOT watch unless you want lose 2 hours of your precious life. PS. i love kevin hart but jesus christ i wanted to hurl a chair at my screen. See more Read all reviews
