Anton Bitel Sight & Sound this meta-horror... nails the contradictory mindset of the horror viewer, while hilariously double-, triple- and quadruple-bluffing the reality effects that lovers of scary movies crave to give their horror 'edge'. Nov 2, 2016 Full Review Jason Adams The Film Experience Fear Inc had me shouting my safety word and reaching for the release hatch well before the exit. Jul 6, 2021 Full Review Norman Gidney HorrorBuzz Rides a razor's edge between straight horror and outright comedy that is a hard thing to do. Rated: 7 Feb 22, 2020 Full Review Adam Patterson Film Pulse I had a fun time with Fear Inc., despite the periodic leaps of faith it takes and the silly, all too numerous false endings it employs. Rated: 6/10 Apr 10, 2019 Full Review Molly Henery The Blogging Banshee This film was a perfect homage to the horror genre and the loyal fans. Fear, Inc. is a film that makes you laugh and gasp in turn, and it keeps you guessing from start to finish. Rated: 8/10 Nov 2, 2018 Full Review Aaron Peterson The Hollywood Outsider Fear, Inc. takes a novel idea and constructs a potential franchise as it recaptures the fun of 90's horror. jonathan d Another psychological thriller that felt like its resolution was let down. Some shoddy acting but overall, not too bad as Chris Marquette was great on screen. The first half of the film was boring and frustrating because the main character was very unlikeable and annoying. The climax was decent, but the ending was fairly predictable in a way that breaks immersion. The comedy was done well but never really made me laugh. It passes the time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review lee h Its an ok movie, well acted but with a lead that is hard to root for because he doesnt really have any redeeming features. Also, its one twist too many trying to be clever, but some of the twists are really stretching it with what they are asking the viewer to believe. The end scene itself even contains multiple twists, and ruined the ending completely because by that time i'd stop caring and was just hoping each twist would be the last Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Obviously a poor mans remake of the game basically . I wouldn’t argue with people who didn’t like but I’m a sucker for this type 3.3 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/21 Full Review Audience Member This movie pulled all the right moves it was funny and very entertaining Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I understand the whole concept, or at least tried to, but, looking at the whole picture, the characters are very unlikable, annoying, and I get it that it was supposed to be the ironic part, but after all, it ended up as repetitive and shallow.
