Victor O I’m a starting to become a fan of actress Cerina Vincent and I noticed this movie in her filmography. It looked interesting so I decided to check it out. A teenaged girl is enduring some problems with her life as she somehow seems to need therapy and as she ends up talking it out with her friends it all seems to lead to a trip in which disaster occurs. This was disappointing to say the least. I was expecting a modest horror film, only it turned out to be an odd psychological film. Not worth my time. Rated 1.5/5 Stars •  Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Dunda G "Fear Runs Silent" could have been a really awesome 1970's throwback if they kept it as simple "teenagers go to the woods and find danger" movie, but instead the producers and screenwritter decided to go for a "what's real and what's not?" approach because it was big at the time and it really HURT the movie. What keeps it from being a total waste is the very efficient cast and scenes where the woods danger attacks. They're really well done and are worth seeing. If you realy like late 1990's horror or horror movies set in the woods or just wanna see a young Cerina Vincent, check it out. If not, watch "the final terror" (1983) instead! I originally sought this out because it had Stacy Keach & Billy Dee Williams in the cast & although they get 1st & 2nd billing they are barely in it. I cried out in rage when they were killed off. For how low budget this is & for how much they are in it they couldn't have gotten more then a ham sandwich. The rest of the cast that fleshes this out are annoying as hell. Not as annoying as the actual structure of the film but I could have very easily watched them killed off just to be done w/ them. Sadly there is more going on to this flix then a simple sasquatch on the rampage movie. I would have much preferred that it was.
