Jocelyn Noveck Associated Press Seeing what happened to Furie and his chill stoner frog dude... will likely make your blood run cold. It sure makes for a chillingly effective internet-era cautionary tale. Rated: 3/4 Nov 13, 2020 Full Review Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald This engrossing documentary follows the character's gentle creator, Matt Furie, as he tries to reclaim his frog from the hatemongers. Nov 4, 2020 Full Review Adam Kempenaar Filmspotting Thorough, well-researched investigation ... but with the humor, playfulness and creativity that matches its material and main character. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 4, 2020 Full Review Greg Carlson Vague Visages The manipulation of popular characters outside the control of original creators has existed for hundreds of years, but what makes Feels Good Man especially significant is the entanglement with "fake news..." Feb 7, 2024 Full Review Josh Parham Next Best Picture As a character study of both a creator and his unwieldy creation, there's an alluring story that’s worth the discovery. Rated: 7/10 Jun 5, 2022 Full Review Matt Lynch In Review Online Unfortunately, that's only about 40 minutes worth of material in this wildly extended and only fitfully enlightening tale. Adolfo Y a fantastic documentary for pepe the frog. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/29/23 Full Review Quinten V This documentary has been a big realisation to me, it shows how much power the internet has. and also shows how dangerous that could be. it is horrifying without being unpleasant and completly depressing, because as there where. the docu shows that Matt had glimmers of hope, that maybe. one day, Pepe would rise again for the good. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/01/22 Full Review rafael d Now I know that a cartoon frog has more political power than I'll ever have. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review dave d A very tough film to locate, but well worth it, 'Feels Good Man' details the origin of the internet meme Pepe the Frog mostly through the eyes of its creator, Matt Furie. Arthur Jones has put together a very detailed debut documentary covered just about every aspect of Pepe and Matt and the shifts in both. The quest is to turn Pepe back into the character he was intended to be and not a symbol of hate. Speaking of hate the Anti-Defamation League doesn't come across as tolerant, accepting, or willing to change. The more you know! If you have a library card check this out on Kanopy. Final Score: 8/10 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A worth watch with great art details Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Documentário sobre a história de um meme que era pra ser um símbolo divertido e acabou virando um símbolo da extrema direita.
