Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine Looking and sounding as though he somehow has a tongue in each cheek, apple-faced Orson Welles turns in an unabashed caricature instead of a real characterization. Audience Member Curd Jurgens plays it straight - perfectly to annoy the character of Orson Welles who does a pretty good job as the funny-man, for what is mainly a comedy, and most of it is family friendly until the final couple of scenes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing much on offer really. The main idea is quite interesting but that's not the case with the film's execution, or the story's evolution for that matter. Mark Conrad is an interesting character and Jurgens is a fitting choice to portray him, yet the whole experience remains pretty unrewarding on all levels: action, romance, humour or drama.
